Dear YMCA Family,

With the feeling of fall in the air, the Anaheim Family YMCA is the place to be for a variety of exciting programs and events! We’ve prepared for a season filled with remarkable experiences, all fueled by our commitment to serving the community.

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the second season of the Angels Nike RBI League, with 80 youth participating in baseball, not including our T-Ball players. A huge thank you to the Angels for their support!

Our 29th Annual Vince Taormina YMCA Golf Classic saw 31 teams come together, raising an impressive $72,000 for program assistance! We were proud to honor the Bruce Solari family and Solari Enterprises at this year’s event. Thank you, Bruce, for your incredible ongoing support of the Y.

We also welcomed our partners from Visit Anaheim, led by new CEO Mike Waterman, who joined us for the unveiling of their supporting arena panel. Thank you, Visit Anaheim, for your renewed commitment to our mission!

In recent staff milestones, we celebrate Ferando Pena’s remarkable 20 years of dedicated service, followed by Ann Trovada, who marks an impressive 17 years with the Y. Brian Flores has been promoted to be our Community Programs Director and has reached 10 years with us, while Jose Cruz, our new Marketing Coordinator, is celebrating 5 years. Thank you all for your commitment to our Y!

We are excited to welcome Yamid Durante and CJ Luis to our YMCA Board of Directors. We look forward to your support and contributions!

Our recent Performing Arts Program Showcase was a huge success, attracting over 500 families to a vibrant event led by Jessica Lozoya.
