The Anaheim Family YMCA is thrilled to announce that Board Member Yamid Duarte-Yurev has been appointed as the 2025 Annual Support Campaign Chair.
Each year, the Anaheim YMCA mobilizes the community to ensure the sustainability of vital programs through the Annual Support Campaign. Philanthropic gifts play a crucial role in providing the financial resources needed to expand the Y’s reach and impact. This year’s campaign, led by Yamid, will run from March 18 – June 26, with an ambitious goal: 100 Kids in 100 Days.
By rallying community support, we aim to provide access to life-changing YMCA programs for 100 Kids, ensuring that more youth have the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive.

About Yamid Duarte-Yurev:
With a deep passion for community engagement and relationship-building, Yamid has dedicated her career to fostering connections and driving meaningful change. As Sales and Marketing Solutions Manager at Aramark at the Anaheim Convention Center, she works closely with major clients to enhance customer experience and develop strategic partnerships.
Prior to this role, Yamid held key positions in convention F&B sales and nonprofit development, leading fundraising initiatives, marketing campaigns, and corporate partnerships that strengthened community ties. Her dedication to youth development and expanding access to opportunity aligns perfectly with the YMCA’s mission of empowering individuals and families through programs that promote health, education, and leadership.
