This past Saturday, September 14th, we had the immense pleasure of celebrating the Opening Day of the Angels Nike RBI League, hosted at the welcoming grounds of Zion Lutheran Church and Schools here in Anaheim.
Our mission with the Angels Nike RBI League is not just about introducing kids to the sport of baseball but about instilling vital life skills that will serve them well beyond the field. On opening day, it was clear that we are setting the stage for more than just games; we are cultivating leadership, teamwork, and a strong sense of community among our young athletes.
A special highlight of the day was the invaluable partnership with the American Heart Association. Their presence and commitment to teaching CPR skills provided our youth with crucial knowledge that goes beyond the basics of baseball. By understanding the importance of CPR, our players are now better equipped to ensure safety and support both on and off the field.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Angels Baseball Foundation for their generous sponsorship of the league. Your support is instrumental in making these opportunities possible for our youth. Additionally, our heartfelt thanks go to Zion Lutheran Church and Schools for graciously opening their doors to us. Their hospitality and support have been vital in creating a space where our community can come together and thrive.
We also want to express our appreciation to the CSUF baseball team for their incredible volunteer work. Their expertise and enthusiasm made a significant impact, offering our players a chance to learn from some of the best and most passionate in the game.
The opening day was a testament to the power of community collaboration and shared vision.
